THE STOLEN GIRL

Mother of two, Elisa, allows her 7 year-old daughter, Lucia, to go on a playdate with her new best friend Josephine. Elisa briefly meets with Josephine’s warm and friendly mother, Cara, and the playdate evolves into a sleepover. But when Lucia is due to be collected, we discover that Cara’s house is actually a luxury AirBnB rental. Lucia has vanished, along with Cara and Josephine. 

As events escalate into an international manhunt for Lucia, pursued doggedly by Selma, a young journalist following the story, the family storyline grips ever-tighter as we dig into long-buried secrets that may hold the key to Lucia’s seemingly motiveless abduction.
