Quay Street is an independent production company set up by award-winning producer Nicola Shindler in 2021 to make entertaining, provocative and engaging drama and comedy for UK and global audiences.
Based in Manchester, Quay Street Productions (part of ITV Studios) places writers and talent at the centre of the production process. Welcoming voices from all different backgrounds, we promote a diversity of storytelling, working with new and established writers. We want to create compelling and original televisions shows.
Samantha McMillon joined Quay Street Productions as COO in 2023, overseeing commercial operations, and working alongside Quay Street Production’s founder and CEO Nicola Shindler to support and facilitate the future growth of the company.
Before joining Quay Street Productions, McMillon was MD at Mammoth Screen. Prior to this, she spent nearly two decades at ITV Studios, where she held senior leadership roles in content distribution, commercial and production. As Commercial Director, she worked across multiple labels and led the international rollout of scripted titles from UK, European and Australian producers.
With over 20 years’ experience in international TV distribution, sales, acquisitions and commercial strategy, McMillon has a strong track record of working with production companies, writers and distributors to bring quality storytelling to global audiences.

Charlie has worked with some of the UK's most celebrated screenwriting talent. He was Script Editor on Quay Street's debut drama Nolly by Russell T Davies, before being promoted to Script Executive. Since then, he’s worked on Toby Whithouse's The Red King (UKTV), Charlotte Coben's Dead Hot (Amazon Prime) and Tip Toe (C4) by Russell T Davies. Charlie is currently working on an upcoming drama series for ITV, where he will also be co-executive producer.
Charlie was profiled in Broadcast magazine as one of their 'Hotshots' of 2023. As well as working with established writers, Charlie is committed to identifying new and enticing writing talent, working on a number of projects across Quay Street's varied development slate.

Athena began her TV career in the AD and production departments, working on dramas such as Downton Abbey, Black Mirror, and Humans. She pivoted into development at Red Production Company where worked as Script Editor on The Stranger, Trust Me, and Safe.
After serving as Assistant Producer on the award-winning BBC One drama, Sherwood, Athena stepped into her current role as Script Executive at Quay Street Productions. She oversees the team's book-to-screen and podcast adaptations, and works with a wide array of new and established writers, developing their original ideas for screen.
Athena has just wrapped on The Blame, a new procedural drama for ITV, adapted from a novel.

Gina started her career in continuing drama, working as a Production Coordinator, before moving across to the script department, where she script edited on Coronation Street and Emmerdale. Since joining Quay Street in 2025, Gina has worked on Harlan Coben's RUN AWAY (NETFLIX), THE BLAME (ITV) by Megan Gallagher and is currently involved in a number of projects across the Quay Street slate.

Georgina is an experienced Post Production Co-ordinator. She started her career in 2013 as a Production apprentice with the BBC. She then went on to work as a Production Co-ordinator working across drama, comedy & entertainment for various broadcasters and production companies.
In recent years, Georgina has transitioned into post-production—an area she has always been passionate about—where she brings strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to every production.
Georgina joined QSP in 2025 and was thrilled to become part of a company behind some of her favourite dramas. A proud Mancunian, she is especially excited to contribute to some of the biggest productions being made in the North West.

Gethin first came to Quay Street as a freelance Reader and Production Runner. They got their first Assistant Script Editor credit on Fool Me Once, then went on to script edit on Missing You and Run Away for Netflix. In 2025, he was the Script Editor on Russell T Davies’ new drama Tip Toe for Channel 4. Now Gethin has joined the development team in-house and is excited to add to Quay Street’s diverse slate. As well as being lucky enough to work with some of the most accomplished screenwriters in the industry, Gethin is always looking to meet new and exciting writers who have new and exciting ideas.

Denzel is a television Script Executive at Quay Street Productions. Prior to his time at Quay Street, Denzel spent the first decade of his career working in various roles across documentaries, live events, commercials and HETV, working on shows such as Peaky Blinders, Ackley Bridge and Cobra.
In 2021, he transitioned into Script Editing, joining Quay Street Productions. Under the tutelage of Nicola and everyone at Quay Street, he worked across development and production in-house, eventually working his way up to become a Script Executive.
Most notably, at QSP, Denzel has Script Edited on Men Up (BBC) and Missing You (Netflix). As Script Executive, he is working on a variety of projects across the extensive QSP Slate.
Denzel Adebayo

Henry started his career as a film acquisitions executive working for distributors including EOne and New Line Cinema, before retraining as a solicitor. After a brief stint in the city, he returned to the world of film and TV working in private practice for the media law firm Sheridans where he advised clients including studios, streamers, producers and financiers with a particular focus on the development and production of scripted television, before making the move in-house to be closer to the production process and the work of deal-making. Since joining Quay Street he has led on business affairs on shows for Netflix, Channel 4 and the BBC.
Henry Beattie

Emily is an experienced Post Production Executive working in high-end TV drama, having started her career in 2006 as an Assistant Director and Production Coordinator. Her early credits include the Red Riding Trilogy, The Queen and Casualty. After forging a career in Post-Production, Emily worked for Red Production Company for over ten years, where her credits included award-winning shows such as Stay Close, Years And Years and Last Tango In Halifax.
Since joining the Quay Street family in 2022, Emily has been leading our Post-Production team across all of our award-winning projects, including Nolly, Fool Me Once, After the Flood, Lazarus and The Guest. She continues to lead the team on a range of exciting new projects.

Caitlin started her career at Radio 4's Woman's Hour before discovering her passion for scripts in the Radio Drama department. She worked on numerous dramas, abridgments, and adaptations before making the leap to television and working in development in Kudos' newly established sister company, Kudos North. She returned to the BBC to develop and script edit an adaptation of a much loved Julia Donaldson book whilst also mentoring new writers on BBC Writersroom's Northern & Cornish voices schemes.
Since joining the Quay Street team Caitlin has focused on development with a particular emphasis on book-to-screen adaptation and supporting emerging voices. She is particularly interested in storytelling with social impact, via the stories themselves and the writers who are given the platform to write them.

Maryam is an avid reader and passionate about scripted production and all things related to media. Prior to joining Quay Street, Maryam started her TV career in broadcasting at AMC Networks in the UK where her role involved content and rights acquisition as well as distribution of all linear, non-linear channels and platforms owned and operated by various companies in the AMC group. Her experience spans across unscripted having worked on productions for CBS Reality.
She's also had the opportunity to get involved in negotiating agreements for exciting industry related events, such as the Sundance Film Festival and FrightFest, and has worked on related matters such as talent agreements for festival appearance, competitions and licensing of shorts and other content shown at festivals.

Before joining Quay Street Productions, Alice worked with Nicola Shindler as a freelance Script Executive on Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once, Stay Close and Ridley Road written by Sarah Solemani, starring Rory Kinnear and Eddie Marsen.
Prior to this Alice worked in development for companies including Warp and Urban Myth Films. Here she worked with writer Howard Overman on shows including Crazyhead, Atlantis, War Of The Worlds, The One and in development on The Lazarus Project.
Alice started her career working across different genres in film, tv and theatre, before moving into tv drama to work on BAFTA award winning single drama Complicit written by Guy Hibbert.

Sue joined Quay Street in 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from the BBC, Granada, RED Production Company and years of freelance TV production. Now serving as Business Affairs Executive and Awards Manager, she’s the driving force behind our streamlined systems and successful award entries. Long-since settled in Manchester, Sue loves working in a busy production office.

Fiona is a seasoned script editor, initially moving from ITV Scheduling to the Emmerdale Script department, Fiona worked her way up to Series Script Editor.
She then fulfilled a dream by script editing Doctor Who with the first female Doctor, Jodie Whittaker, before joining Kudos North as Development Executive. Having been at Quay Street since it first opened its doors, Fiona's worked as a Script Executive on After The Flood, Significant Other and The Stolen Girl and produced the second series of After The Flood before becoming Head of Development at Quay Street.
She still feels like a competition winner for getting to work with writers, read scripts and talk about stories all day, even if it means occasionally having to write about herself in the third person.

Emma began her television production career at Lion Television and Hat Trick Productions, with an initial focus on factual programming, including both documentaries and factual entertainment. However, her love of scripted television led her to Kudos Film & Television, where she advised on a wide range of scripted series for Sky, ITV and Amazon and other developments and national/international productions for Apple, the BBC and Channel 4. After a stint in kids' programming at Zodiak Kids, Emma's passion for thrillers led to her returning to scripted drama development and production here at Quay Street Productions, where she has worked on "Lazarus" for Amazon, "After The Flood" Series 2, "The Blame" for ITV, "Old Town Murders" for the BBC and Harlan Coben's "Run Away" for Netflix.

Charlotte’s career has spanned Radio and TV, working with both new and established writers across original dramas and adaptations. BBC Radio Drama highlights include developing Adam Usden’s award winning play THE BOOK OF YEHUDIT and the TINSEL GIRL series by Lou Ramsden, based on an idea by Cherylee Houston. During her time at BBC Studios Kids and Family, Charlotte developed CBBC’s record breaking MY MUM TRACY BEAKER and the BBC family dramas THE PRIMROSE RAILWAY CHILDREN by Tom Bidwell and CROOKHAVEN by Justin Young.
Being a huge fan of their dramas, Charlotte was very excited to join Quay Street in early 2026 and is thrilled to be working with writers on new drama series ideas.

Richard Fee is an executive producer and head of drama at Quay Street. He has worked closely with QSP founder Nicola Shindler since 2010, producing drama for Netflix, the BBC, ITV, Amazon and Sky.
A key collaborator with bestselling US novelist Harlan Coben and British screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst, he has executive produced many series for Netflix including Run Away, Missing You, Fool Me Once, Stay Close, The Stranger and Safe.
Richard’s other executive producer credits include Lazarus, starring Sam Claflin and Bill Nighy, for Amazon, two series of After the Flood for ITV and No Return, starring Sheridan Smith for ITV.
Richard is currently producing several projects, including The Blame for ITV, with more productions in the pipeline.

Ella began her career in television in 2025 at Quay Street Productions as the Team Assistant, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. Building on this foundation, she progressed within the company to the role of PA and Office Coordinator, where she supports both creative and operational teams. Her work involves coordinating logistics, managing day-to-day office functions, and contributing to the smooth delivery of high-quality television projects.

Niamh started at Quay Street in 2024 as Team Assistant, after graduating from the University of Oxford where she was actively involved in student theatre. While at university, she completed work experience at Quay Street, cementing her passion for development. After supporting a number of productions as part of the office team, Niamh joined Harlan Coben’s Run Away as Assistant Script Editor. Passionate about nurturing new talent and championing inclusivity both on and off screen, she is excited to continue contributing to Quay Street’s ambitious and diverse slate.

Will started his television career in the AD department, before transitioning to script editing at EMMERDALE. He worked his way up to Senior Script Editor there before joining the final series of COLD FEET for Big Talk North. He then moved to the BBC Children's Drama Commissioning team, working on a range of projects across both production and development, before joining Quay Street Productions in 2022.
For QSP, Will script edited both SIGNIFICANT OTHER and AFTER THE FLOOD, and took on script executive duties for LAZARUS on Amazon Prime. He has since been developing a range of projects for our development slate, and in 2025, stepped up to Producer on RUN AWAY for Netflix.

Charlie joined Quay Street in 2022 to script edit THE STOLEN GIRL for Disney and has since script edited THE GUEST for BBC ONE, written by Matthew Barry. He was Senior Script Editor/Script Executive on the second series of Mick Ford's AFTER THE FLOOD (ITV) and is currently Script Executive on OLD TOWN MURDERS for BBC ONE.
Before Quay Street, Charlie was a Development Executive at Hilary Bevan Jones' Endor Productions, where he worked with a range of newer and more established writers across the company's busy development slate. Prior to that he worked in the TFTV department at Curtis Brown and as an Agent Trainee at UTA. He graduated with a BA in Film Studies from Falmouth University in 2015.

Kate has been Head of Business Affairs at Quay Street Productions since Quay Street was established and has overseen BA for every show on the Quay Street slate, working on a wide range of different projects with multiple different broadcasters and streamers; from Nolly, our inaugural drama for ITVX, through to Fool Me Once, Missing You and Run Away for Netflix, Lazarus for Amazon Prime, The Stolen Girl for Disney, The Guest for the BBC and After the Flood for ITV.

Hannah joined Quay Street as a Development Editor back in 2022 after graduating from the University of Cambridge. Hannah directed and produced multiple plays and short films at university, as well as founding the society Cambridge Creatives. Since joining the team, Hannah has built on her passion for scripts, developing work with a range of new and established writers across the slate. Alongside bringing fresh projects to the slate, Hannah has now script edited on DEAD HOT (Amazon), by Charlotte Coben, and THE BLAME (ITV), by Megan Gallagher.
Hannah is also on the steering committee for Watersprite Film Festival, the largest student film festival in the world. Hannah is passionate about championing new voices, nurturing talent and developing powerful stories. She counts herself lucky to talk telly every day.

Davina is an executive producer at Quay Street Productions. She started her career at BBC Comedy and has also worked for BBC Comedy Commissioning and BBC Writers where she found a love of identifying and championing new voices. Emmy joined Quay Street in October 2025 after graduating from university, where she studied Film Production. During her time there, she produced a number of short films and helped organise film festivals for her year group. At Quay Street, she has developed a strong foundation in production and development, supporting the Office Coordinator with day-to-day operations to help maintain an efficient and organised workflow.

Rachel started her career in 2002, working in post-production across both factual and entertainment as well as drama programming. In 2010 she moved over to drama production to join Sky's returning series Mount Pleasant. She continued her career working as a freelancer on many HETV Drama and film productions across the Northwest and the North of England including Nolly, Peaky Blinders, Ghost Stories, Everything I Know About Love, Traces, Scott And Bailey, The Syndicate and In The Flesh to name a few.
Since joining Quay Street Productions, Rachel has enjoyed working on many exciting projects as part of the Production Management team. Helping with the development of some amazing shows and overseeing production on ‘Fool Me Once’, ‘Missing You’ and ‘Lazarus’ to name a few.

Chris Leach joined Quay Street Productions as Head of Production in February 2022, shortly after the company’s inception. He has been a driving force behind QSP’s growth, overseeing the production and delivery of a high-profile drama slate including the global Netflix hit Fool Me Once, ITV’s Nolly, and the BBC’s The Guest.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Chris previously served as a Production Executive at ITV Studios, managing productions across multiple labels. Chris began his career at Granada Television and remains a proud North West-based advocate for regional production, dedicated to championing the creative economy outside of London.

She's also had the opportunity to get involved in negotiating agreements for exciting industry related events, such as the Sundance Film Festival and FrightFest, and has worked on related matters such as talent agreements for festival appearance, competitions and licensing of shorts and other content shown at festivals.
Richard Fee
Head of Drama and Executive Producer
Richard Fee is an executive producer and head of drama at Quay Street. He has worked closely with QSP founder Nicola Shindler since 2010, producing drama for Netflix, the BBC, ITV, Amazon and Sky.
A key collaborator with bestselling US novelist Harlan Coben and British screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst, he has executive produced many series for Netflix including Run Away, Missing You, Fool Me Once, Stay Close, The Stranger and Safe.
Richard’s other executive producer credits include Lazarus, starring Sam Claflin and Bill Nighy, for Amazon, two series of After the Flood for ITV and No Return, starring Sheridan Smith for ITV.
Richard is currently producing several projects, including The Blame for ITV, with more productions in the pipeline.
Emmy Frawley
Production and Development Trainee
Emmy joined Quay Street in October 2025 after graduating from university, where she studied Film Production. During her time there, she produced a number of short films and helped organise film festivals for her year group. At Quay Street, she has developed a strong foundation in production and development, supporting the Office Coordinator with day-to-day operations to help maintain an efficient and organised workflow.
Alice Grant
Associate Producer and Script Executive
Before joining Quay Street Productions, Alice worked with Nicola Shindler as a freelance Script Executive on Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once, Stay Close and Ridley Road written by Sarah Solemani, starring Rory Kinnear and Eddie Marsen.
Prior to this Alice worked in development for companies including Warp and Urban Myth Films. Here she worked with writer Howard Overman on shows including Crazyhead, Atlantis, War Of The Worlds, The One and in development on The Lazarus Project.
Alice started her career working across different genres in film, tv and theatre, before moving into tv drama to work on BAFTA award winning single drama Complicit written by Guy Hibbert.
Ella Hughes
PA & Office Coordinator
Ella began her career in television in 2025 at Quay Street Productions as the Team Assistant, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. Building on this foundation, she progressed within the company to the role of PA and Office Coordinator, where she supports both creative and operational teams. Her work involves coordinating logistics, managing day-to-day office functions, and contributing to the smooth delivery of high-quality television projects.
Rachel Jones
Production Executive
Rachel started her career in 2002, working in post-production across both factual and entertainment as well as drama programming. In 2010 she moved over to drama production to join Sky's returning series Mount Pleasant. She continued her career working as a freelancer on many HETV Drama and film productions across the Northwest and the North of England including Nolly, Peaky Blinders, Ghost Stories, Everything I Know About Love, Traces, Scott And Bailey, The Syndicate and In The Flesh to name a few.
Since joining Quay Street Productions, Rachel has enjoyed working on many exciting projects as part of the Production Management team. Helping with the development of some amazing shows and overseeing production on ‘Fool Me Once’, ‘Missing You’ and ‘Lazarus’ to name a few.
Sue Keatley
Business Affairs Executive + Awards Manager
Sue joined Quay Street in 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from the BBC, Granada, RED Production Company and years of freelance TV production. Now serving as Business Affairs Executive and Awards Manager, she’s the driving force behind our streamlined systems and successful award entries. An honorary Manc who loves a busy production office.
Niamh Langton
Assistant Script Editor
Niamh started at Quay Street in 2024 as Team Assistant, after graduating from the University of Oxford where she was actively involved in student theatre. While at university, she completed work experience at Quay Street, cementing her passion for development. After supporting a number of productions as part of the office team, Niamh joined Harlan Coben’s Run Away as Assistant Script Editor. Passionate about nurturing new talent and championing inclusivity both on and off screen, she is excited to continue contributing to Quay Street’s ambitious and diverse slate.
Chris Leach
Head of Production
Chris Leach joined Quay Street Productions as Head of Production in February 2022, shortly after the company’s inception. He has been a driving force behind QSP’s growth, overseeing the production and delivery of a high-profile drama slate including the global Netflix hit Fool Me Once, ITV’s Nolly, and the BBC’s The Guest.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Chris previously served as a Production Executive at ITV Studios, managing productions across multiple labels. Chris began his career at Granada Television and remains a proud North West-based advocate for regional production, dedicated to championing the creative economy outside of London.
Fiona McAllister
Head of Development
Fiona is a seasoned script editor, initially moving from ITV Scheduling to the Emmerdale Script department, Fiona worked her way up to Series Script Editor.
She then fulfilled a dream by script editing Doctor Who with the first female Doctor, Jodie Whittaker, before joining Kudos North as Development Executive. Having been at Quay Street since it first opened its doors, Fiona's worked as a Script Executive on After The Flood, Significant Other and The Stolen Girl and produced the second series of After The Flood before becoming Head of Development at Quay Street.
She still feels like a competition winner for getting to work with writers, read scripts and talk about stories all day, even if it means occasionally having to write about herself in the third person.
Will McDonagh
Producer
Will started his television career in the AD department, before transitioning to script editing at EMMERDALE. He worked his way up to Senior Script Editor there before joining the final series of COLD FEET for Big Talk North. He then moved to the BBC Children's Drama Commissioning team, working on a range of projects across both production and development, before joining Quay Street Productions in 2022.
For QSP, Will script edited both SIGNIFICANT OTHER and AFTER THE FLOOD, and took on script executive duties for LAZARUS on Amazon Prime. He has since been developing a range of projects for our development slate, and in 2025, stepped up to Producer on RUN AWAY for Netflix.
Samantha McMillon
Chief Operating Officer
Samantha McMillon joined Quay Street Productions as COO in 2023, overseeing commercial operations, and working alongside Quay Street Production’s founder and CEO Nicola Shindler to support and facilitate the future growth of the company.
Before joining Quay Street Productions, McMillon was MD at Mammoth Screen. Prior to this, she spent nearly two decades at ITV Studios, where she held senior leadership roles in content distribution, commercial and production. As Commercial Director, she worked across multiple labels and led the international rollout of scripted titles from UK, European and Australian producers.
With over 20 years’ experience in international TV distribution, sales, acquisitions and commercial strategy, McMillon has a strong track record of working with production companies, writers and distributors to bring quality storytelling to global audiences.
Emma Murie
Senior Business Affairs Manager
Emma began her television production career at Lion Television and Hat Trick Productions, with an initial focus on factual programming, including both documentaries and factual entertainment. However, her love of scripted television led her to Kudos Film & Television, where she advised on a wide range of scripted series for Sky, ITV and Amazon and other developments and national/international productions for Apple, the BBC and Channel 4. After a stint in kids' programming at Zodiak Kids, Emma's passion for thrillers led to her returning to scripted drama development and production here at Quay Street Productions, where she has worked on "Lazarus" for Amazon, "After The Flood" Series 2, "The Blame" for ITV, "Old Town Murders" for the BBC and Harlan Coben's "Run Away" for Netflix.
Charlie Niel
Script Executive
Charlie joined Quay Street in 2022 to script edit THE STOLEN GIRL for Disney and has since script edited THE GUEST for BBC ONE, written by Matthew Barry. He was Senior Script Editor/Script Executive on the second series of Mick Ford's AFTER THE FLOOD (ITV) and is currently Script Executive on OLD TOWN MURDERS for BBC ONE.
Before Quay Street, Charlie was a Development Executive at Hilary Bevan Jones' Endor Productions, where he worked with a range of newer and more established writers across the company's busy development slate. Prior to that he worked in the TFTV department at Curtis Brown and as an Agent Trainee at UTA. He graduated with a BA in Film Studies from Falmouth University in 2015.
Charlie Quinn
Assistant Producer & Script Executive
Charlie has worked with some of the UK's most celebrated screenwriting talent. He was Script Editor on Quay Street's debut drama Nolly by Russell T Davies, before being promoted to Script Executive. Since then, he’s worked on Toby Whithouse's The Red King (UKTV), Charlotte Coben's Dead Hot (Amazon Prime) and Tip Toe (C4) by Russell T Davies. Charlie is currently working on an upcoming drama series for ITV, where he will also be co-executive producer.
Charlie was profiled in Broadcast magazine as one of their 'Hotshots' of 2023. As well as working with established writers, Charlie is committed to identifying new and enticing writing talent, working on a number of projects across Quay Street's varied development slate.
Charlotte Riches
Script Editor
Charlotte’s career has spanned Radio and TV, working with both new and established writers across original dramas and adaptations. BBC Radio Drama highlights include developing Adam Usden’s award winning play THE BOOK OF YEHUDIT and the TINSEL GIRL series by Lou Ramsden, based on an idea by Cherylee Houston. During her time at BBC Studios Kids and Family, Charlotte developed CBBC’s record breaking MY MUM TRACY BEAKER and the BBC family dramas THE PRIMROSE RAILWAY CHILDREN by Tom Bidwell and CROOKHAVEN by Justin Young.
Being a huge fan of their dramas, Charlotte was very excited to join Quay Street in early 2026 and is thrilled to be working with writers on new drama series ideas.

Nicola Shindler OBE is a multi award-winning television producer, founder and CEO of Manchester-based Quay Street Productions.
With over 25 years’ experience, she has produced some of the UK’s most critically acclaimed dramas, including It’s A Sin, Happy Valley, Queer As Folk, Last Tango In Halifax, Nolly, The Guest, Fool Me Once, After The Flood and Run Away.
Nicola’s latest projects include Tip Toe, written by Russell T Davies for Channel 4, The Blame written by Megan Gallagher for ITV, Old Town Murders written by Matthew Barry for BBC and The Woods, a Harlan Coben adaptation by Danny Brocklehurst for Netflix.
A leading figure in championing British storytelling, Shindler has built a reputation for nurturing writing talent and delivering bold, authentic drama for global audiences.
Athena Stravrakis
Script Executive
Athena began her TV career in the AD and production departments, working on dramas such as Downton Abbey, Black Mirror, and Humans. She pivoted into development at Red Production Company where worked as Script Editor on The Stranger, Trust Me, and Safe.
After serving as Assistant Producer on the award-winning BBC One drama, Sherwood, Athena stepped into her current role as Script Executive at Quay Street Productions. She oversees the team's book-to-screen and podcast adaptations, and works with a wide array of new and established writers, developing their original ideas for screen.
Athena has just wrapped on The Blame, a new procedural drama for ITV, adapted from a novel.
